Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande Take to Instagram to Test Out Their Weather Reporting Skills

Rain in the forecast

May 26, 2020

In a comical new IGTV video, Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande have collaborated with The Weather Channel, not only to keep us up to date on the perfect California climate, but also to continue to playfully promote the summer anthem that is “Rain On Me.”

The video opens with Gaga standing outside her Los Angeles home during what looks like a torrential downpour, however LA in late May is certainly not known for rain. Then Gaga, like a true weather girl, throws it to her correspondent in Beverly Hills, Ariana Grande. Grande is also attempting to mitigate a rainy situation.

Eventually these comedy Queens reveal that the “rain” they are experiencing is coming from an outdoor hose and sink head. We knew Gaga could act, but we didn’t expect our Queen, and Ari to take weather reporting to a whole new, campy level like this.

The one minute and fifteen second video is packed with puns and references to the “Rain On Me” music video… and we loved every second of it. In her instagram caption Gaga proudly says, “Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande Are The Chromatica Weather Girls. Are we thirsty or what? BRING ON THE RAIN.”

“LG6” is just three days away from it’s release, and this IGTV post just got us more excited for what we can anticipate from the multi-talented Pop icon.
